Star Rating Criteria

Star Rating 5 Stars5 Stars = A perfect film.  This rating is reserved for a film that not only executes every aspect of the film production process perfectly (acting, writing, cinematography, etc) but also breaks new ground and pushes the boundaries of what has been seen before.

Star Rating 4 Stars 4 Stars = A film that executes every aspect of the film production process perfectly and is exactly the film it sets out to be but does not necessarily break new ground.

Star Rating 3 Stars 3 Stars = A solid film, a decent film but nothing outstanding.

Star Rating 2 Stars 2 Stars = A film that really leaves something to be desired but could be worse.

Star Rating 1 Stars 1 Star = An overall failed film but one that has a least a basic level of competency to keep it from being utterly worthless.

Star Rating No Stars No Stars = A absolute cinematic abomination.
